First meeting is to address any all health history to ensure a safe and effective program. This includes health and lifestyle questionnaire and body composition.

Postural Assessment

Utilizing my postural assessment software, I will be able to determine an overview of the correctness of your posture and what alterations are occurring that could contribute to existing or potential injuries.

Dynamic Assessment

Through the Overhead Squat Analysis, I will be able to determine altered muscular movement patters along your kinetic chain that could contribute to existing or potential future injuries.

corrective exercise

Each session will begin with attention to correcting neuromuscular dysfunctions to allow proper movement patterns and muscular efficiency. This will follow the NASM Corrective Exercise Continuum.

Personal training

Following the National Academy of Sports Medicine Optimal Performance Training program, each client will progress through the various stages as balance, endurance, and strength goals are achieved.

Each session will conclude with static and dynamic flexibility exercises to prevent the shortening of muscular fibers that limit joint mobility.

Personal Assessment Protocol

Health Assessment

Prior to our initial consultation, you will be required to complete a basic health analysis, which includes a ParQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) and a general health questionnaire to note any previous health related issues, to better assist me in providing the most comprehensive program to you.  Once registered, you will receive the link to complete these required forms.  Anyone under the age of 18 requires parental authorization.

Body Composition Assessment

Using Our Body Assessment Application, a simple front facing and side facing image we can accurately analyze your body mass index, your body, and based on your age, your relative comparisons to where you should be.  Movement of our bodies through space our Central Nervous System gathers sensory information to analyze the forces against motion, and determines the appropriate amount of force and muscle recruitment to achieve its result.  Our body composition changes the force output requirements of our muscular system.

Postural Analysis

Using our Postural Assessment Application, a simple front and side facing image allows us to determine how aligned your posture is.  This report will show how much off center you are and how much stress the misalignment is adding to your spine.  This assessment is our first determinant of potential muscular dysfunctions that are occurring in your Kinetic Chain.  This assessment will help provide insight as to what muscles are overactive and tight, and which are under active and weakened.

Dynamic Assessment

Completing The Overhead Squat Assessment on recorded video, is the most accurate measure of any neuromuscular dysfunctions that are occurring in ones human movement system.  Altered movement patters are common ways to help the body overcome weakened or overactive areas which typically create additional injury patterns.  Once completed, a detailed Corrective Exercise Plan can be outlined to address the overactive and tightened muscles while strengthening the under active and weakened muscles.  Finally, an integrating the muscles to work in a synergistic manner to strengthen the body as a complete unit.

Optimal Performance Mode Program

Your personalized Corrective Exercise Plan will address your current neuromuscular dysfunctions creating muscular inefficiency along your kinetic chain of movement.    Your program will follow the Corrective Exercise Continuum as created by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

  1. Inhibitory Technique which is about breaking up muscular adhesions preventing optimal force output of the sarcomeres.
  2. Lengthening Technique which is comprised of static stretching the muscles that have shown to be over active and tight.
  3. Activation Technique is comprised of strengthening the muscles that have displayed being under active and weakened.
  4. Integration Technique is creating a synergistic relationship of the muscles that surround multiple joint locations.  This creates neuromuscular efficiency which is each muscle performing as it is designed to do.
  5. Balance/Stabilization will focus on ensuring proper joint movement throughout the kinetic chain of movement. This process will ensure you are achieving optimal force production for the greatest strength increase.
  6. Peripheral Heart Action programs provide optimal calorie expenditure for achieving muscle growth and body fat reduction.

I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to help you become stronger and healthier for your everyday lifestyle.  To make sure that I accomplish my task at hand, and you are 100% completely happy with the results, I wanted to make sure you understand a few basic things to keep the process moving smoothly.

Even though we are in an age of having everything at our fingertips, much of what you will experience through this program is one-on-one through email, text or video chat.  I operate my business on normal business hours, so if you do not receive a response immediately, it is that I personally respond to all my clients.  My hours to work on assessments and client consultations are Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm.  I do work on weekends to catch up when my work overload becomes excessive.  If you receive contact from me on non-business hours, this is the exception, not the norm.  Please understand I will always respond within 1-2 business days unless it is an emergency.

I do not share any information of my clients with anyone outside of Sisu Performance Systems, LLC.  I do not use client photos for any marketing purposes unless otherwise on a mutually agreed basis.

I do not offer a “Money Back Guarantee” for my services since this will be time invested to help you achieve your ultimate purpose.  However, I do guarantee that we will make any necessary changes to help you accomplish your goals based upon your individual needs.
